ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Founded in 1969, the Guru Nanak Fifth Centenary School is situated in Mussoorie with two separate campuses for girls and boys. The school is affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate examinations. The girls' school is ranked as no. 7 in India while the boys' school ranks no. % in Uttarakhand. The school is residential and has English as its medium of instruction. The two campuses of boys and girls have been named as Shangri-la, Vincent hill with Shangri-la being established in the year 1977.
The alumni of this school have been successful in the field of science,literature, medical, and there have been people doing well in their respective fields. There are inter-school competitions that take place, boosting the morale of the children and various recreation activities. Both campuses have sports facilities available, a cricket field of safeguarding the interest of those children who have an inclination towards sports, hockey field, an indoor swimming pool, table tennis and pool tables.
