Dehradun is the capital of the north-Indian state Uttarakhand and lies in the laps of Himalaya. The city is at an elevation of 450m above the sea level, which makes it a pleasant tourist attraction. It lies between the two prominent water bodies, the Ganga and Yamuna, which makes the city converge with natural surroundings.
