DAY SCHOOLS IN MUMBAI

Mumbai, originally Bombay, is a city in southern India and the capital of Maharashtra state. It serves as the country's financial and commercial hub, as well as the country's main port on the Arabian Sea. Mumbai, India's most populous metropolis and one of the world's largest and densestly populated urban centres, is located on Maharashtra's coast. Mumbai, which had long been the epicentre of India's cotton textile industry, evolved into a highly diverse industrial sector with an increasingly prominent information technology (IT) component. Mumbai's commercial and financial institutions are also robust and thriving, and the city acts as the country's financial capital.

EDUCATION IN MUMBAI

Many prominent people, including political leader Dr. B R Ambedkar, educator Dadabhai Naoroji, physicist Homi J Bhabha, nationalist Lokmanya Tilak, musician Zakir Hussain, and others, received their schooling in Mumbai. Schools in Mumbai employ the Maharashtra State SSC Board, the Central Board for Secondary Education (CBSE), and the All India Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) board syllabus. Private establishments mainly follow the ICSE curriculum, whereas public institutions mostly follow the State Board and CBSE curriculum. In Mumbai, 58 schools are affiliated with the ICSE board, while 36 schools are affiliated with the CBSE board.
