CBSE SCHOOLS IN CHENNAI

CBSE: AN OVERVIEW

In 1921, the Uttar Pradesh Board of High School was set up as the first education board in India. It was under the authority of Rajputana, Central India, and Gwalior. In 1921, Central India, Merwara, Ajmer, and Central India started administering a joint board made by the Indian government named "Board of High School and Intermediate Education, Rajputana." It wasn't until 1952 that it became what we know it as today, the "Central Board of Secondary Education."

CBSE (Central Board for Secondary Education) is the public board of our nation. It is categorized as primary level, secondary level, and senior-secondary level. The curriculum is very interesting and student-friendly. The major exams of India, like JEE-main, NEET, AIIMS, etc., are organized by the CBSE.

Following are a few of the advantages as to why one should opt for CBSE over other boards.

Easy curriculum

The Central Board of Secondary Education follows a research-based curriculum. The students don't need to appear for more than one exam per subject. This saves them from the tremendous pressure and allows them to be interested in their academics.

Government recognition

The syllabus, exam pattern, and grading system are set up by the Indian government as CBSE is a public board of education. It has been recognized by the Indian government.

Transfers are easier

CBSE curriculum is followed by a huge number of schools all across the country. Just in case the students are relocated, they don't face many problems in regards to their education.

Hindi and English mode of education

CBSE schools teach in English and Hindi mediums, and the syllabus is made as such to focus on both languages.

Syllabus

The schools affiliated with CBSE stick to the rules of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). And the syllabus is made such that the students can prepare for entrance exams like JEE-mains, etc., by studying these books.
